For some time I have been worried about the situation of my country, Venezuela, and being out of reach and without control did not help me overcome the anxiety. It was not until I realized that terrible things happen all over the world calmed me down. It is sad to think that this way of thinking helped me cope with the situation and move on.
Water is a metaphor for cleansing and change, is a visual element used in my works related to the current political discourse. My exploration into more definitive method of communicating will continue to be examined through my works.
